Up to three studies are conducted annually and interested parties are invited to submit their proposals by <strong>19 April 2021.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Are you an interested member of the public or working in a field related to nanomaterials or nanotechnology that could benefit from more research? If you have a proposal for a specific study that fills an information gap relevant to nanomaterials on the EU market, the European Union Observatory for Nanomaterials (EUON) may be able to carry it out. The EUON is looking for studies that address:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>questions relating to the health and safety of nanomaterials, including hazard and risk assessment, <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Exposure&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Means to expose an object to a particular influence: In the case of nanomaterials, in particular, the contact of humans, animals or the environment with the possibility of incorporating nanomaterials. Both the quantity and the period of ingestion are of concern.
