{"id":6229,"date":"2019-05-21T15:25:36","date_gmt":"2019-05-21T15:25:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dana.ggiants.de\/new-nanocare4-0-project-metalsafety-started\/"},"modified":"2019-05-21T15:25:36","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T15:25:36","slug":"new-nanocare4-0-project-metalsafety-started","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nanopartikel.info\/en\/new-nanocare4-0-project-metalsafety-started\/","title":{"rendered":"New NanoCare4.0 Project &#8220;MetalSafety&#8221; started!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the beginning of 2019, the &ldquo;<a href=\"index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=2703&amp;Itemid=1273&amp;lang=en\" title=\"MetalSafety Project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">METALSAFETY<\/a>&rdquo; project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) was launched as part of the new &ldquo;<em>NanoCare 4.0 &ndash; application-safe material innovations&rdquo;<\/em> funding measure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The overall scientific objective of the MetalSafety project is the development of concepts for the toxicological evaluation and grouping of fibrous and granular metal compounds with different <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Solubility&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;The solubility of a substance indicates whether and to what extent a substance in a solvent (usually a liquid) can be solved. It describes the property of a substance to be evenly mixed with the solvent. Inorganic nanoparticles (mostly metals and metal oxides) decompose into ions. The solubility depends i.a. of temperature and pH of the solution.&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'>solubility<\/span> or <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Bioavailability&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Refers to the rate and extent to which a substance is absorbed unchanged from the environment or the gastrointestinal tract into the body. The amount taken up does not necessarily correspond to the amount present in food or in the environment of a living organism.&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'>bioavailability<\/span>.
