Literature Criteria Checklist

Home > Knowledge > Literature Criteria Checklist

The literature that provides the basis of the Knowledge Base has been selected in accordance with quality criteria that have been acknowledged worldwide within the scientific community.
Particularly with respect to toxicological publications (human and eco toxicology) all described experiments and results were extensively assessed by the DaNa experts using the Literature Criteria Checklist, a customised methodology to evaluate scientific literature prior to admission to the knowledge base.

In our articles, we do not claim to provide a complete mapping of the existing literature on a particular innovative material. This is often not possible due to the large number of literature sources. Therefore, a selection of representative, informative studies is usually used for the texts and listed on the website. However, all scientific articles reviewed are recorded in a DaNa library and contribute to the traceability of the entire process. A complete reference list of publications on a material contained in the DaNa library can be provided upon request

The DaNa Literature Criteria Checklist “Methodology for selection of publications” is available for download here as a PDF document and a PDF form .
