New NanoCare4.0 Project “MetalSafety” started!
21. May 2019
At the beginning of 2019, the “METALSAFETY” project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) was launched as part of the new “NanoCare 4.0 – application-safe material innovations” funding measure.
The overall scientific objective of the MetalSafety project is the development of concepts for the toxicological evaluation and grouping of fibrous and granular metal compounds with different solubility or bioavailability. The project is coordinated by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) under the direction of Prof. Dr. Andrea Hartwig, Institute of Applied Biosciences (IAB).
